Our Story
Born from a
weekend van build
VoltEdge Systems started in 2025 when our founders, frustrated by clunky off-the-shelf fuse blocks and generic relay systems, decided to engineer their own solution for a self-build campervan project. What began in a garage in Huddersfield quickly became a business when fellow converters started asking for the same boards.
Today we design and manufacture bespoke power distribution and control electronics, exclusively for the mobile and off-grid sector. Every board is conceived, routed, and tested in-house — we never outsource design, because we believe real quality starts with ownership of the entire process.
We're a small team with a big obsession: making electrical systems in vehicles safe, intelligent, and genuinely elegant.

Founder · Lead Electronics Engineer
Former automotive electrician with 12 years of experience. Michael heads all PCB design, from schematic to gerber. He built his first campervan at 22 and has been chasing better power systems ever since.

Programmer · Embedded Systems
Software specialist. Dave writes all firmware and develops the CAN-bus integration layer. He drives a converted Sprinter called "Ohm."

Many years in electronics manufacturing and quality control. Dan ensures every board leaving the workshop meets our zero-compromise standard. His attention to detail is borderline alarming (we say that with love).
