VoltEdge Systems started in 2019 when our founders, frustrated by clunky off-the-shelf fuse blocks and generic relay systems, decided to engineer their own solution for a self-build campervan project. What began in a garage in Manchester quickly became a business when fellow converters started asking for the same boards.
Today we design and manufacture bespoke power distribution and control electronics, exclusively for the mobile and off-grid sector. Every board is conceived, routed, and tested in-house — we never outsource design, because we believe real quality starts with ownership of the entire process.
We're a small team with a big obsession: making electrical systems in campervans safe, intelligent, and genuinely elegant.

Former automotive electronics engineer with 12 years at Tier 1 suppliers. James heads all PCB design, from schematic to gerber. He built his first campervan at 19 and has been chasing better power systems ever since.

Our flagship power distribution board, designed for full-size campervans and motorhomes with complex electrical demands. The PWR-DIST-16 replaces a tangle of fuse holders, relays, and manual switches with a single intelligent module — fully controllable via CAN-bus, Bluetooth app, or hardwired inputs.

The VE-BMS-8S bridges your LiFePO₄ or lithium battery pack to the rest of your van's electrical system. It monitors cell voltage, pack temperature, and state-of-charge in real time, triggering protection events before any damage occurs. Compact enough to fit anywhere in your battery bay.
